Star Wars 3D…Yes!!

Star Wars in 3D is out today…. So there is something I saw that I love.. that everyone who loves Star Wars and Valentine’s has to see.. It’s these Valentines cards you print and cut out yourself (keep scrolling you gotta see these)…. they are so cute and this artist Katie Cook did them (starwars.com).  I love the way the look… so I thought these have to be seen and made…

Okay so they look like this…… How is it possible that I want to kiss Yoda right now!  There is a link below picture for you to print them out….

Star Wars Valentines by Katie Cook (I suggest using regular paper for envelope and then using card stock for cards)

So.. print out these super duper duper cute cards……(even cuter after printing)….

Cut the cards out (of course I have to use some scalloped scissors)….

Cut out envelope….(cut on the thin solid white line… just a Tip, can you tell I didn’t do that the first time?)……

Fold envelope along dotted lines…… and apply a small bit glue……..

Write a message on the back of the card if you want….. and insert into envelope……

Okay… so by now, you must be thinking like I was….. where’s the candy????….(I lost sleep because of this… because I was like what am I going to do for a sweet and cute treat?)…then the light went on..and oh yeah I was home…and Pixy Stix was included…

Grab 3 of those sugar high sticks…….. hold them together…. and apply a piece of tape to center..making them hug…..

Then print out these amazing  LightSaber Wrappers ….that took a small awesome team to think how to make it work (Go Dad!)….

Cut them out……(I know… I can’t wait for you to finish too!)……

Then grab one group of Pixies that you taped together and center on the cut out lightsaber, make a small fold on one edge.  Apply  a small piece of tape in center to secure the paper to the Pixies….. and roll lightsaber paper around Pixies…..(thanks Mom for the hand modeling)

Apply two small pieces of tape to the outsite of lightsaber after rolling to secure……

Then “Use the Force, Luke…” and contain yourself from not having a battle with them before giving them out…..

Almost done…apply a small piece of rolled up tape to back center of lightsaber and attach to front of Valentine to secure before giving…and….. Happy Valentine’s Day!!!…. Don’t forget to check out Star Wars 3D….it’s going to be sweeeeet!
